Core components of industrial robots are missing; fasteners seek opportunities

China's robotics industry is in a major era of transformation, requiring rapid innovation and integration. As a high-tech technology, robots are an important means to support industrial development. To vigorously develop the robotics industry, fasteners, as one of the core components of robots, naturally become a popular area of focus for many.

In the rise of domestic robots in China, the localization of core components is a very important aspect. Data shows that due to the severe lack of core components, Chinese industrial robot companies mainly focus on the body and integration end. From a cost perspective, core components account for the majority of the cost of industrial robots, about 72%.

China's robotics industry is in a major era of transformation, requiring rapid innovation and integration. As a high-tech technology, robots are an important means to support industrial development. Domestic robots need to secure a place internationally by building brand influence and quality. Regarding this, Qu Daokui stated: "It is not simply a matter of scale accumulation, but forming a new industrial group through industry, culture, concepts, and organizational structure, which is a complete intelligent transformation. More importantly, post-merger operational management enables one to have international capabilities."

As one of the core components of robots, fasteners are among the factors affecting robot performance. Therefore, in the independent research and development of domestic robot technology, China still needs to increase investment and R&D in key technologies, improve the self-sufficiency rate of components, integrate existing R&D resources, quickly establish a batch of technology R&D laboratories, engineering centers, enterprise technology centers, complete machine and key component testing centers, and at the same time, cultivate independent intellectual property brands to expand and strengthen the domestic industrial robot industry.
